Hiro Mashima Fairy Tail

Hiro Mashima, he of the recently wrapped-up Fairy Tail, has got some time on his hands, and while we are convinced he’s enjoying a few Final Fantasy XV DLC, he has also made time to visit New York.

Mashima will be in New York Comic Con, which runs from October 5 to 8, where he will receive the first-ever Harvey Awards International Spotlight award. In other words, you guessed it, a brand new class from the Harvey Awards, the comic award.

The Fairy Tail founder will also give a talk in the Japan Society October 5.

Mashima wrapped up the Fairy Tail hat following 11 years this July. The series has been adapted into moreanime series, OVAs, movies and spinoffs than you can shake a stick (or tail, rather) at, and also a brand new season of anime is about the way in 2018.

As of the writing, tickets to get Mashima’s October 5 talk in the Japan Society, “Hiro Mashima: The Magical World of Fairy Tail,” are still available.
